🐾 Regional Platypus Project
From a platy mascot being unveiled at the Gresford Billy Cart Derby to eDNA studies, citizen scientist worships, new junior landcare groups, carp musters and more!
All strands of this epic regional project have been on fire! A big update on what's happening and how to join the fun is coming at the end of the month.
🤝 Community Foundation Launch Coming Soon
We’re in the early stages of setting up a Community Foundation—a way for locals to support local projects that matter most.
It will span the Dungog Shire and our sister town Stroud. Stay tuned for more on how this will work and how you can be part of it.
⚠️Martins Creek Quarry Expansion
If the challenge is successful it will have a staggering impact on our local community -trucks on our village main roads every 2.5 minutes!!
📌 Changes to the On-Site Court Hearing – 17th March 2025
➡️ LOCATION: The hearing will now commence at EA Hunt Hall (Main Hall), Tocal College, 815 Tocal Rd, Paterson.
➡️ TIME: Proceedings will now start at the earlier time of 9:00 AM.
This is a critical moment for our community. The morning session will hear evidence from resident objectors, and having strong community attendance will show how much this issue matters to us all.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend and observe the morning session.Your presence in the room makes a real difference. It demonstrates community concern and support for those giving evidence.
Whilst there's limitations on speakers there’s no limit to how many people can show up in support!
